Scholarship Information


Florida Bright Futures Scholarships

You may be eligible to earn a scholarship through the Florida Bright Futures program. Believe it or not, you must start working toward these scholarships now because many factors are involved in earning these awards, including your GPA, completed hours of community service, and your scores on the SAT and ACT. The requirements are listed below.
The application for Bright Futures opened December 1st.

Florida Medallion Scholars Awards

75% of tuition and fees at public institutions
100% of tuition and fees at community colleges
English—4 credits
Math—3 credits, Algebra I and above
Science—3 credits, 2 with labs
Social Studies—3 credits
Foreign Language—2 sequential credits
3.0 weighted GPA (academics only)
970 SAT score or 20 ACT score
Florida Academic Scholars Awards

100% of tuition and fees plus $300 per semester for college-related expenses at public institutions
English—4 credits
Math—3 credits, Algebra I and above
Science—3 credits, 2 with labs
Social Studies—3 credits
Foreign Language—2 sequential credits
3.5 weighted GPA (academics only)
1270 SAT score or 28 ACT score
75 hours of community service
