Throughout Your Senior Year:

 Finalize college choices bases on location, price, and majors offered, etc.  This can be done on the internet, by phone, or in person.  Also, plan college visits as soon as possible.

 Gather and complete applications for colleges in the fall and adhere to their application deadlines- make sure you keep track of when these are due. 

 Continue performing community service hours to apply towards graduation and scholarships.  Documents to log community service are available in the front office and guidance office.

 Do SAT/ACT test prep:  www.collegeboard.com, www.act.org, or SAT COACH ONLINE at www.palmbeach.k12.fl.us/satcoach/.  There are also private companies that offer test preparation (please see guidance for a list of resources).

 Register or retake the SAT and/or ACT online.    Fee waivers (if applicable) are available in the guidance office.

Continue searching scholarship websites.  See guidance or G-Star website or check your e-mail for a list of scholarship websites.  Scholarship information will be e-mailed as information is available.  Please make sure I have your current e-mail address if you want me to e-mail you information.

Prepare a resume of school/community activities, awards, honors, and work experience.  Anyone you ask to write a letter of recommendation should be given a copy of your resume.  Remember to give that person enough time to write the letter!
