Attention G-Star Parents and Students:

G-Star Visual Arts Club (VAC) welcomes you to an exciting new year!
We held our second meeting after school on Wednesday, September 16, 2009. In our meeting we discussed the XSCREAM T-Shirt contest, the XSCREAM Game-booth, and we worked on drawing. Many VAC members brought their sketch pads to show some of their work and a good time was had by all.
In the future, G-Star Visual Arts Club will meet after school in room J-106 on the 2^nd and 4^th Wednesday of each month. Students should make arrangements to be picked up no later than 4:00pm.Our next meeting will begin at 2:45pm on Wednesday, September 30, 2009.

Students who wish to participate in the design and decorating of the XSCREAM Game-booth should plan on staying after school on Monday and/or Tuesday of next week (09/21 & 09/22). We will meet in J-106 at 2:45 and proceed to the game-booth site after discussing ideas. Parents or students should email me and let me know who is planning to stay after school next week.

We also need volunteers to work the game booth on the evenings of XSCREAM. Parent Volunteers are welcome and you can work as many nights or as few nights as you wish. Our game-booth will host a dunk tank where the public will purchase tickets to sink school administrators and teachers. Our theme is “Blood Bath”. Very scary! The Volunteer dates are the following Friday & Saturday evenings:
10/09/09 & 10/10/09, 10/16/09 & 10/17/09, 10/23/09 & 10/24/09, 10/30/09 & 10/31/09

Reminder: XSCREAM T-Shirt designs are due tomorrow, Friday, September 18, 2009.

All entries should be placed in Ms. Woodside’s mailbox by the end of the school day.
